山水园林县城是画卷最美的地方。县城北面的龙岗公园依山而建，那里古木参天，翠竹成林，远远望去，莽莽苍苍，仿佛一幅只用绿色渲染，不用墨线勾勒的中国画。千步梯从山脚蜿蜒伸向山顶，犹如一条巨龙直冲云霄，象征著汉阴人民奋发向上，勇于进取的精神和意志。近邻龙岗公园自西向东的北城街素有“陕南第一街”之美誉，笔直宽阔的街道干净整洁，道路两旁井井有条的栽植著“金秋娇子”桂花，每到十月，它便会散发出浓郁的沁人心脾的香气，使街道的每一个角落都沉浸在醉人的花香之中。那里商铺林立，白天人头攒动，车水马龙，夜晚路灯齐明，流光溢彩，仿佛辉映着汉阴美好的未来。
县城南面的凤凰广场是城南开发区的点睛之笔。它形态柔美，既有宽阔的平台，又有弯曲的小径；既有欧式风格的凉亭，又有中式城垛的回廊；既有现代声光的音乐喷泉，又有古典苏州园林的古树怪石。这里是汉阴人民休闲娱乐的绝佳场所。穿城而过的月河似一双玉臂将旧城区和新开发区紧紧拥抱在一起，那清澈的河水，浇灌著两岸万顷良田，滋养著勤劳朴实的汉阴人民，承载着汉阴古老的历史和未来的梦想。
